UMMC students and faculty now have access to Boards & Beyond!

UMMC students and faculty now have access to McGraw-Hill’s Boards & Beyond, a comprehensive medical education video collection. Rather than relying on buzzwords and mnemonics, the videos are designed to help students learn complex concepts through clear explanations presented in a simplified format. Students can supplement their coursework, prepare for board exams, clerkships, and residencies. Additionally, the content includes USMLE-style questions for self-assessment and to reinforce key concepts. Faculty can utilize the resource to facilitate flipped classroom activities, self-directed learning, and remedial assignments.

What does Boards & Beyond contain?

Step 1-Preclinical: over 440 videos and over 2300 USMLE-style questions. Focuses on building a solid foundation of preclinical knowledge
Step 2-3-Clinical: over 260 videos and over 1300 USMLE-style questions. Focuses on connections between the mechanisms studied and the actual treatment decisions students will make as physicians
